  1. Hello Peter, Could you tell me what would be the price with a delivery in France ? Have a nice day. Christophe
  2. I forgot to precise that I had to tune manually the setup. This way I Can move it manually with the joystick. However when I ask the telescope to go toi position Park 1 (Zenith) it only moves in RA. The window displaying the motors shows only motions in RA. It should moves also in DE but the window shows that the DE position is good... thus the final DE position is not good. However after that I can move it manually with the joystick... Is there any particular procedure to make sure of the balance. When I balance the télescope in DE the maximum intensity is 3A. Actually the telescope weights 30kg and the refractor (on the top of thé télescope) weights 15kg. I need 60kg of counterweights toi balance in RA. As the mount is the DDM85 avancer it should be near the maximum configuration. Christophe
  3. Hello Michael, Thank you very much for your answer. I tried auto-tune for the servomotors and I had non errors. Which is quote strange because when it does auto tune on RA axis the telescope moves down as if thé DE motor fails... I also tried to remise the refractor just to keep the telescope and everything works perfectly. So I conclude that the problem comes from balancing on DE motor. However when I do balance the maximum intensity does not exceed 3A... I will do other test to find the best position for balancing. Have a nice day. Christophe
  4. Good morning, I am recently having a problem. I have added a parallel refractor to my telescope and now I have a problem with the planetarium software "Carte du Ciel". Indeed, when I connect the telescope to "Carte du Ciel" this one is well recognized. However, when I ask it to go to a star near its position I have a problem. It first goes well to the star, the window showing RA and DE motors clearly illustrates this. However, as soon as it reaches the star, a second window immediately opens and it moves only in DE direction as if it wants to make a complete turn... On the software "Carte du Ciel" I clearly see that the telescope marker is moving and is not pointing the star anymore. Before that, I had encountered a balancing problem with the new configuration on DE motor. It could not reach the park position. I had to balance it and clear servomotor. I don't know if it can have an influence on my problem. If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks in advance.
  5. Good evening, I have recently bought also an ASA 3" 0.73 reducer from an astronomer and I have exactly the same observation than Giovanni. I have measured external diameters of 81 mm instead of 79.5mm and 76mm instead of 76.2mm. I have also measured a total length of 73mm instead of 69.53mm. Have you been able to solve your problem. Even if the dimensions are slightly different, my main question is : can I trust with the backfocus values given by ASA ? Moreover just to be sure, for the values of backfocus given by ASA in the table, the f-ratio is the initial ratio of the telescope or it takes into account the 0.73x reducer ? Thank you very much for your help.
