Many thanks Luis... A "goodbye" image for a reliable and great scope. Time to go with a more easy and packing toy for an old guy like me A big hug. Antonio

    Cygnus Wall

Great set !..I will choose 2 and 3. Anyway ..fantastic.
  8. From the album: SPAG Monfrague Remote Observatory

Barnard 145 (Cygnus )* ( June-July 2018 ) * ASA N12 astrograph (f/3.6, 1075mm) *ASA DDM85 mount * G3-16200 CCD EC Moravian * Baader LRGB filter set * L: 480 minutes R:560 min G:440 min B: 480 min * Subframes acquired unguided (Sequence&Autoslew software): I revisited Barnard 145 almost 8 years laetr from my first image in 2009. Always interested in Barnard targets and dark nebula. Lying amongst the spiral arms of the Galaxy are numerous clouds of dust and gas. These clouds, commonly known as dark nebulae, absorb light from the stars behindand appear to observers on Earth as blank regions amongst the bright Milky Way. Barnard 145 (LDN 865) is a dark nebula in the constellation Cygnus. The red emission nebula all around is LBN190, as a part of Sh2-109.The dark nebulae are classified, according to their opacity on a scale from 1 (only slightly darker than the background Milky Way).Barnard 145 has a quoted size of 35'×6' and opacity of 4.
  9. Working fine here. .. Regards, Antonio
  10. It´s going really fantastic. Waiting final result !!
  11. Fantastic images,Thomas!!!!. Love both..vdb 18 but this one with the cirrus is impactant. Colour is gold to my eyes. Thanks for showing! Antonio

    Ced 51

Cederblad 51 is a part of the large Sh2-264 nebula, the "Orion's head".Red colour shows the large H-alpha emission nebula (GN 05.30.0), blue the reflection nebulae ( Ced 51) and brown, the dust nebulae (dark nebulae such as: LDN1582,LDN 1584,Barnard 31,Barnard 30..) .Also Herbig-Haro targets such as HH 179 and HH 244 can be guess between dust. More resolution : http://afesan.es/Deepspace/Ced%2051,%20B30,B31,%20HH%20179,%20HH244%20(%20Orion)_jpg_orig.html Thanks for looking.. Antonio

VdB 81 (also catalogued as IC 448, is a reflection nebula in the constellation of Monoceros. Situated between NCC 2261 (Cone nebula) and NGC 2237 (Rosette nebula), It`s illuminated by the 4.47 mag, A0Ib spectral class star 13 Monocerotis (HD 46300).It´s like a blue ink drop expanding as waves between stars: Upper left side of image, you can see the the open cluster NGC 2254 Background showns filamentary emission nebulosity belonging to the Monoceros Loop supernova remnant.* More resolution and technical info: http://afesan.es/Deepspace/vdB%2081,%20NGC%202254%20(Monoceros)_jpg_orig.html Nice weekend, Antonio

  20. The blue reflective nebula vdB 13 is illuminated by the blue star HIP 15984, spectral type B8. Under vdB 13 is the dark nebula Barnard 203. Inside Barnard 203 is another reflection nebula: RNO 14, which shows a reddish-brown colour, located at the edge of Aries-Taurus. In the left central part, with an intense yellowish tone we see Bernes 63 and several Herbig-Haro objects. In the lower central part of the image, the dark cloud Barnard 204 appears, with the Herbig-Haro 422 as a flame in the centre. Some small galaxies appear as a backdrop to the reddish dust. This part of the sky contains a lot of dust nebulae, as well as some exotic objects known as Herbig-Haro Objects (HH), and RNO objects. HH objects are formed when jets of gas ejected by young stars collide with clouds of gas and dust in the vicinity at speeds of several hundred miles per second. you can see more than a dozen of these Herbig-Haro objects in various parts of the image such as reddish-wine objects or shadows.
