0 lukepower
Hi Adamo, don't get me wrong, but the price might be too high for a used mount. Just my two cents. You are about 800 Euro lower than a new version... Best regards

0 Waldemar
Hi lukepower Please give me link to new version. I cant find. Since a couple of years the DDM 60 (Pro) is not made anymore. One of the reasons was because this mount could not be equiped with absolute encoders, only incremental ones. Another reason were the plans of producing the ASA Revolution, based on the DDM60, but that has never been launched alas... (probably those two are connected) Practically this means, only the DDM85 or the DDM160 are available now, both very expensive and out of budget for many people. Yours, being one of the later series, may be interesting for people who don't want to spend almost double the amount on a DDM85, but there are downsides to it as well... I agree with Luke that this is a steep price, even including the extra weights. Wishing you succes with sales. 0 GeorgeCarey
Hi Adamo, I also have a Ddm60. Once you have done the homefind then the mount does know where it is. But if you don't do a homefind the mount is unaware of direction. The homefind looks for the zero position on the encoders. The bigger mounts don't need to do a homefind. 0 Waldemar
Is not true My mount always remember your position after swith off. I had a DDM60Pro as well, Adamo. It does not remember the position. When switched off, you first have to do a 'home find' before it knows where it is One of the reasons I traded it in was because of the incremental encoders, another one because I wanted more load capacity and power. All the new DDM85's have absolute encoders, they do not need a homefind. They always know where they are.
0 tbaehnck
Hi all, the DDM60 will remember the Last Postion, im my case "Position Park 1". If you don't touch the mount and absolutley don't move one of the axis, you can start from there without a new homefind. Otherwise you can't. I can live with that. Cost me 1 Minute to do a homefind.
