Gerald
Hello all, Has anybody tried to image the comet? This is the latest image I´ve taken under very tricky conditions - full moon, cirrus clouds, codiacal light, twilight :_) ASA DDM60PRO, ASA 8" f 3.6, FLI PL 16070 best regards Gerald
GeorgeCarey
I tried, but from my observatory there is a neighbour's tree in the way. I got this with a DSLR and telephoto lens from my loft window this morning. Rather poor, but at least I got it. The bright star to the right is Spica, and Mercury is near the horizon. I hope when (if) it has gone round the Sun it will be better placed. Edited November 19, 2013 by GeorgeCarey

Waldemar
Hi Gerald, That is truly an amazing picture... Chapeau! What subs did you take if I may ask? And one shorter L-sub for the stars? I am amazed by the round stars with such a high speed object. Thanks for sharing.
