  2. This all looks like a dejá-vue of last year's thread. I on my side stopped hoping for any improvement as I feel the software part of ASA is made sort of "if it works its fine". The beta releases are also being updated very slowly. There are stupid bugs around since years. But hey, I put a lot of bucks in my system and once it works I won't do anything to it.

In another life, I would for sure buy another mount...

    Hi All

    that's right!

I haven't help from ASA  support too.

    ASA is very strange buissness.

Remains for us the  toy is not worth much but very expensive

    Best regards Adam

    Hello Adamo,

My voltage was 11.8V. There is a small adjuster in the power supply and I have increased the voltage to 12.7V.

It may be too soon to be sure but the DEC current at the moment is almost steady, only a very small rise. :o  :o  :o

    George

Me enough and works well. :)

  4. Hi George

    I had a similar problem.

I checked the voltage on the power supply
    It was 11,8V.
In my power supply was adjustable so I picked up the voltage to 12,60V
    Mount works without a problem
    Check the voltage.

    Best regards Adamo

  5. Hello

My name is Adam i bought DDM60pro.

I have a problem with the balance of newton 8".

When OTA pointing south (in RA axis) the balance perfectly !

When OTA pointing west or east the balancing is lost!.

    Similarly in the axis DEC.

if the telescope is horizontally the balance is perfectly !

In another position, it is only worse.

Have any of you had this problem?
    How to solve it?

how it is possible to keep balance in every position with Newton OTA?

    Best regards Adam Kisielewicz

  6. Hi
Atik must have a power greater than 12V! (12,5V to 13,5V) then it works fine. Check it.
DDM60 pro must also work at a voltage higher than 12V. My work at 12,5V. If it worked  for 11.8v badly  USB HUB's pluck CONNECTIONS - "USB comunications LOST" camera, mount, focuser hang up.
The USB cable also should be as short as possible and thick.
