[New ASCOM driver for legacy DDM mounts]

Hello, I would like to ask for help.

My computer is Windows 10 Pro.
NINA plugin for creating ASA models. It doesn't work for me.
The file is saved as grd and is not saved in the ASA >Sequence>PonitingPics folder, therefore I cannot open this file for conversion.
Maybe you know what I'm doing wrong.

Hello. My DDM 60 works well with NINA.

He rarely has parking problems using the NINA program.

I have Windows 10 installed on my computer.

I also use the Sequencer only for MLPT and then I only use the NINA program

So far I am happy with NINA.

Tried today to connect to DDM from NINA 2.0 11 via Ascom Device Hub.
But ASCOM Telescope Simulator Setup pops up and unfortunately I can't connect to DDM.
Can you write step by step what you do to connect to DDM.

We inform the ASA company that their controller does not meet the ASCOM requirements and the ASA company simply does not care.
Perhaps the ASA company assumes that you bought our product, you are unlucky - now it's your concern.

These are the two of us interested in repairing the ASA ASCOM driver.
You can still work with NINA version 1.10 HF3.
Unfortunately, it does not have as many functions as NINA 2.0.
I hope ASA technical department will notice this topic and release a new DDM driver.

Hello.
I have been using the NINA program for some time now for a complete astro-photo session.
Pretty cool program like SGP.
NINA recently released a new beta version of NINA 2.0.
NINA 2.0 has more very useful functions.
NINA 2.0 is supported by ASCOM 6.5 SP1.
Unfortunately, the ASA ASCOM DDM60 driver does not want to work with the new version of NINA 2.0
I tested the ASA ASCOM driver via the ASCOM Diagnostics program.
The ASCOM program displayed about ten ASA ASCOM driver errors.
several times I wrote to ASA technical support about this problem asking for repair of the ASCOM DDM driver.
Unfortunately, I have not received any reply.
Maybe some of you will know something about it.
I attach the ASCOM file where the problem is shown.

Hello and sorry that I posted the answer in Polish, I must have been tired😉.
  I have DDM 60 and I had the same problem more than once.
I had to disconnect the power from the DDM and also disconnect the USB port on the DDM.
This action helped.

Cześć . Wczoraj uruchomiłem opcję pliku Evaluat Flex / Histeresis w sekwencji. Niestety nie mogę wyświetlić wyniku tej funkcji, ponieważ pojawia się okno debugowania błędów w trybie JIT. Zamieszczam także krótki film o tym problemie. Niestety, mam polski system, a sam problem jest wyświetlany w języku polskim. Może ktoś będzie znał rozwiązanie tego problemu.

[The problem with the latest Beta Autoslew 5244]

Hello. I recently installed Autoslew 5244 - unfortunately when I turn on the DDM power the telescope itself raises up to about 45 degrees.

I completely autoslew once with the file removal and installed a stable version of 5240.

 

Unfortunately, even though I entered the DDM code, I can not get rid of this problem in version 5240.

 

Someone has some way to make this problem disappear.

[DDM 60 Problem Homefind position.]

I have also been having a problem getting my DDM60Pro to do a Homefind.

 

However .... after a great deal of effort my "Homefind" problem looks as if it has been solved ... but I will keep my eye on it.

 

After eventually contacting ASA Martin Puchner, at ASA, kindly inspected my system remotely using Teamviewer and he made a couple of minor changes to one of the files within AutoSlew which seems to have done the trick. I am not sure exactly what he did as it happened very quickly.

 

I got the impression that this is a known problem affecting "some people". I suggested that somebody at ASA should post a bulletin on the forum to help others who might have the same problem ... he said that this was a good idea.

2. Yes I dubbed Autoslew with my software planetary

[DDM 60 Problem Homefind position.]

Hello again and thank you for your help. Yesterday I went to my observatory.

and once again I uninstalled completely from the computer I deleted my Autoslew and back installed.

Then I introduced the key this time I typed it directly from the keyboard laptop.

And this time Home position worked properly - FINALLY SUCCESS.

Then I made a new Poninting File with 20 stars on both sides of the sky.

After the procedure in Autoslew Calculate Configuration you can not find the file cfg.

I had to use the old file cfg, and perhaps for this Autoslew unfortunately gives large errors in calculations.

Sorry Autoslew gives large errors in calculations, although I did four times Pointing file - an error in the position of RA is large which makes the GO-TO is not accurate.

I also tried to set the number of times set New Homeposition unfortunately without success.

I worked with Autoslew 5.2.3.2 and 5.2.2.2

I add movies you-tube- where it is shown that there is no file cfg and large errors in the calculation Pointing file.

 

In sum:

 

1) Home find - now operating normally.

2) Autoslew badly calculated Pointing file - causing malfunction GO-TO. There is no file cfg.

3) does not work set New Homeposition.

4) Sometimes the problem with the operation of the GPS. (Autoslew 5.2.3.2 and 5.2.2.2 )
