Thanks Lukas, that's good news. I hope someone will chime in with the software details on how to use TLEs with the ASA mounts. I was goinf to mess around with AutoSlew but I don't seem able to run it in simulation mode... Thanks! V.

Hello folks, I'm considering a DMM85 mount for a new setup. I have two questions: 1) Are the ASA mounts capable of tracking low Earth orbit objects provided TLE data (ISS etc...)? How about asteroids and comets ... moving further away from Earth :-) ? I haven't been able to find a definitive answer to this in the forum. 2) I was under the impression that anyone could install AutoSlew and use it in sim mode without an ASA mount. I installed it but can't go past the serial number input screen. Am I missing something? Thanks and best wishes for 2017! Vincenzo
