I am having a lot of trouble polar aligning my new setup. I have a DDM85 standard model. I recently put on a 14" planewave CDK and polar aligning is proving impossible. The large single red polar adjustment altitude screw at the front is impossible to move. I released the 4 x side screws but it won't budge. Is there a trick to this? I don't remember having any trouble when I had a 100mm refractor on it. I'm not too keen on using a wrench until I know there's not some other screw I need to loosen first. Do any of the grub screws need loosening?
