afesan
A small reflection nebula inside a dark nebula surrounded by dust.Named GN 03.47.9 and also BSF32 (Blitz,Fich,Stark catalogue) was somehow mistaken for a planetary nebula.(PK 149-1.1) The whole area is inmersed into a big reflection nebulosity and ionized HII, spreading the star lights into haloes, and the background dust muddying completely the image.. A very weak region. I had to invest a lot of hours just to show some minimal colours and details..Seeing and a high humidity along some weeks wasn´t too cooperative,so I had to discard a lot of subframes. Anyway, I hope this image encourage other astrophotographers to look far away other than topic/typical targets.. As usual:More than 110 subframes x10 minutes each one, unguided and automatically acquired with Sequence-Beta , ASA DDM85 mount and ASA N12 astrograph.
