Vielen herzlichen Dank Robert

  4. Hello everyone, I need help !! For some month i have troubles with (i think so) USB connection problems... see the toppics above) Now i can describe the problem a little bit better. In the logfile there i can find this: 01:59:56.548: readInt32 data read error 2x. Received error# from ftdxx.dll was 5 01:59:56.571: Now trying ResetDevice, this returned 4 01:59:56.612: readInt32 after ResetDevice still not working, returned error# 5 01:59:56.682: Now trying FTDI CyclePort, this returned 4 02:00:08.121: readInt32 after CyclePort still not working, returned error Nr. 4096 The whole file (without the 1000 rows where are no problems) is attached. Im not so a hero in this case. So means that i have problem with connection? ( im using win7 64bit - an expensive 2 Meter USB cable dirct to the plug of Pc) Can it be a softwareproblem - so i couldt install Autoslew new .... Or is this a windows problem? THANKS if somebody can help me. Robert 2020_10_15_0h34m.txt
  5. Hi Robert,

I've exactly the same issue. I thought it's driven by update of Windos (running now Windows10).
While I got this error - the whole software stops working... - only way to recover is to physically unplug and plug the USB connection.

    Is you issue resolved ?

    Georg.

  6. Hey Amenophis, You are right !!! happy christmas Robert
  7. Hello Amenophis, Im not sure to understand .... I think that these to modells are different ohters... The H8 is a hyperpolic Reflector f2,75 - and there you need this H8 Corrector - whitch is normaly integrated in the focuser. And for other Newtons (ASA f 3,8) you will need the 3" Wynne Corrector. kind regards Robert
  8. Hello everybody, On the ASAs website i can not find any focuser or corrector - i think because they stoped the "everybody" setup. Does anybody know something? Im asking because i need a good 3" focuser and corrector for my f4 newton telescope. If someone knows an other good product - please let me know. Thanks Robert
  9. Thanks Mark, I will try. kind regards Robert
  10. Thanks Mark ! Do you think that my problem has to do with the cables or perhapps only software or mountelectronic? Thanks Robert
  11. Thanks Bernhard, i will not switch on the mount the whole time.... Because i have only solar batteries and i think it is not very good for the electronic if it is on for 24/7. But perhapps somebody can help for the usb connectionproblem..... kind regards Robert
  12. Hello at all, Can anybody tell me what can be the reason for the USB error - see the attached image: This problem is getting more and more for the last 5-6 month ... Im using Win7 64bit and the usb connection is with a 1.8m cable to PC. long time everything was fine and this error never appeared. Are the "USB 3" cables better then normaly USB2 cables? And the second question: i allways have to power on the mount before windows is starting. if i switch on the mount after windows - i will allways get the error that mount is not to find ..."and autoslew is starting in sim mode". This is no big problem but it is not fine for remote wake up.... Thanks for help. Robert www.astrofotos.at
  13. Hey Mark and Bernhard, Thanks !!! Ok ..... But i'm wondering about this. Allways turn on is not good in my case because i have to save electric power - My obs is so far away from normal energygrid that i have to use solarbatteries and solarpanels. But if you say then i will start mount before computer. Thanks and CS Robert
  14. Hello friends. Im using a DDM 85 with Win7 Prof. 64bit. The DDM is connected with a 2 Meter long USB cable. Before some weeks i had a bluescreen during a night. Since this event i have problems with the connection between DDM and PC. Everything else is working fine. I got the problem that windows installs the windows usb driver. I tried to repair this with the little tutorial from ASA - what is to do if this happend. "howto_recover_usb_driver" But the problem is not realy solved. At the moment it is so that the mount MUST get power before the PC is coming up. If i start the PC first and then the mount - then "Neue Hardware wurde nicht installiert". I set the pc that it will NOT installing a new (windows) driver.- because in this case the pc wouldt install the Windows USB driver. Can somebody help me to solve this problem? Thanks Robert
