  3. Hi Nigel and all, They have penetrated the BlueSpice Media wiki we are using and added malware and a lot of users 500+. To prevent attacks we need to often update the media wiki and extensions, they are often the problem for attacks. The site is now on another host in south of Sweden loopia.se hope they can provide som better protection. Im thinking of reinstalling the latest BlueSpice Media wiki, a fresh copy, and try to copy some contents from the old site, to upgrade and clean the current site could be time consuming. Do anyone have some thoughts about the future of the wiki is it of any use and it seems to lack of activity on it except for the pirates Cheers, //Christer
  4. Hi, The asa wiki http://asa-users.org/is down for the moment due to hacker attack, up as soon it has been cleaned. Cheers, //Christer
  5. Nigel, one other thing after it started to not find home using the gyro was that it often even after I placed it at zenit-east I noticed the pier side was west not east witch made the homefind fail, so now I always check and set correct pier side, since then I have not hade any problems.
  6. Hi Nigel, I second Lucas stick with the encoders and use the cams, also use a park position after each session to be in the right position for the next run. The DDM85 should have gyros built in to try to find the zenit-east position before atemting a homefind, this worked excelent at first but after a while, perhaps some software change, they was not reliable so I now use the cames when homefind after parked close to zenit-east.
  7. Ok thanks for the tip, I also found e-Eye and they seems a good alternative, a bit expensive 3200 euro/year so I will also look for alternatives. Cheers, //Christer
  8. Nice shot Antonio! I admire your work! Thinking of moving my gear down to south-west Spain (hosting) as the weather is often crappy where I live in mid-north of Sweden, if you know of any hosting site with a good price let me know Cheers, //Christer
  9. Hi, Det web host have automatic backups about 2 week back but when the hack was found the time had passed the 2 week history so restore was not an option, from there side. Did not get any clear hint what the hack was but probably a mail relay or ftp hack as when I checked the size of the latest backup the site was 1.6+ GB in size. SO i restored from a private oktober-16 copy and the host cleaned the old DB and restored data from Dec16. So I will now make manually copies end of each month. BR, /Christer
  10. Hi, Now the wiki is up and running again, restored from a copy late 2016. Not all content are back but most I hope. Will make manually copys each month from now and hope the hackers stay away Cheers //Christer
  11. Hi, The site asa-users.org have been hacked and a backup did not help so a new setup of the wiki system is needed so it can take some time. BR, /Christer
  12. Hi, Anyone got the ACC to work with Autoslew correct with the new AAF3 focuser? In Add/Remove component I tried "Use ACC" checked and un-checked, when checked two ACC shows up the old and new one, I ignore the old one but a bit annoying. If unchecked I can start the new ACC standalone, but then Sequence cant find any focuser. Running AS 5.2.3.1 P.Keller had the following comment but same problem as above "check the Autoslew.ini file and set [ACC] Use ACC and take over settings from ACC=False then run the new ACC standalone" Cheers, /Christer
  13. Hi Bernoit, Its the same camera-Wynne adapter as for the OK3Z. One important thing I discovered, when you should push down the Wynne through the AAF3, with the new camera adapter, you first have to unscrew the 3 lock screws all the way out so nothing is in the way when the Wynne is put in place, that way the Wynne can go all the way to the bottom of the new camera adapter and the lock screws will NOT be applied to the Wynne corrector but insted on the camera adapter part. The screws are conical so I think the will have the effect of push the rim of the camera adapter towards the focus adapter bottom. In my previous image my Wynne was stopped by the lock screws and did not go all the way to the bottom. I hope ASA support will make some instructions about this, I will put this info on the Wiki as well. Cheers, /Christer
  14. Hi, Made first light yesterday with the AAF3, seems to work ok, one problem is that when I start AS the old ACC software is popping up and I have to run the new version of the ACC as standalone, waiting answer from Dr.Keller how to resolve this. Added an detailed image of the AAF3 I got from ASA support, there it seems the lock screws will not touch the Wynne corrector, will check if that is true. Cheers, Christer
  15. Hi Mark, I got two adapters one with dovetail to attach teh AAF to the OTA (green arrow) and a second focus extension 3" (blue arrow) with 3 lock screws to lock the Wynne against the inner tube wall (so no need for the red ring with tread). The ring with tread from the AAF focuser in yellow. A question for ASA why is not the focus extension in blue replaced with a extension with tread to use the red ring to lock down the Wynne? I have not had confirmation from ASA support yet if this is a correct way to do it. BR, /Christer
  16. Hi, Also got my AAF3 with same adapter as Pelle. Se the attached image where I have attached the Wynne and my Moravian G3 cameran, I did not use thw big red wheel with tread. Tried mount it without the extra adapter and the red wheel but then there was a gap so the camera could move in-out about 10 mm and rotate freely, obviously not the right way. Two concerns the focuser inner diameter is a bit bigger than the Wynne so there is a small play, when lock down perhaps not a problem. Second the lock screews will put pressure on the Wynne is that harmful for the optics or not? BR, /Christer
  17. Hi, I have a G3 16200 wit the new Wynne adapter just released by Moravian ant it works fine, note it dont support any OAG no space for that to short BF.
