  1. In my humble opinion ASA and Dr. Keller are doing a great job by making a truly super high tech mount and ditto software, and in that way bringing professional possibilities to amateurs. The way they provide service is outstanding as well from my own experience as from other's. There is always something to complain about, but maybe we are all a bit spoiled by this incredible piece of technique and expect that we will be mothered all the way... Buying a mount like this, kind of plunges you in the realm of very advanced technology and demands a different way of thinking than we were used to with the equipment we had before. At least that is how I experienced this. I am more than satisfied with my DDM60Pro and just invested a little bit more in likewise advanced programs like PinPoint and MaximDL. I totally agree with George's comparison to computers: some things you just have to buy yourself because of the possibilities to choose from and your personal interest. B.t.w.: Maxim also offers a lite version of PinPoint. Regards, Waldemar
  2. Wow Antonio, that is quite an image ... Congratulations! BR Waldemar
  3. Hi Gerald, That is truly an amazing picture... Chapeau! What subs did you take if I may ask? And one shorter L-sub for the stars? I am amazed by the round stars with such a high speed object. Thanks for sharing. BR, Waldemar
  4. Hi Thomas, Transcend USB 3.0 4-port hub works perfectly... It is USB3.0, but backward compatible The little Sitecom 4-port hub is nice and small too, but the Transcend is a different league. Regards, Waldemar
  5. I would like to keep bugs out of there as well...
  6. If there is any place left, I would like to test it as well. Thanks in advance, Waldemar
  7. A nice piece of plastic foil to cover the dome, big enough to prevent messing up with the following materials: A sheet of thick woven glass fibre, resin and hardener.. Be sure the plastic is on the dome without wrinkles; use tape to secure it in place; lay the fibre sheet on it and use the resin according directions, Make it as thick as you think is useful. When it is hardened you can shape this as you like and use this as a base plate for further construction... Maybe that works for you :-) Regards, Waldemar
